R&D Technician

Worn Again Technologies (Nottingham)

Mar 11, 2024

About Worn Again Technologies (WAT):

WAT’s vision is to eradicate textile waste and keep resources in constant circulation. Our proprietary recycling technology recaptures raw materials from non-reusable textiles. This is being developed and commercialised by an expert team and strategic partners who share the ambition of creating a circular world.

The challenge – Mountains of textiles and plastics still end up in landfills. Current recycling methods turn <1% of non-reusable materials into new textiles, whilst demand for new resources grows.

The solution – WAT is solving the challenge of separating polycotton blends and putting them back into circular raw materials.  Our advanced recycling technology can separate, decontaminate and extract polyester and cotton from non-reuseable textiles and polyester packaging.
